In an effort to help seniors with declining mobility and disabled adults maintain their quality of life, Seniors First’s Stepping Stone Medical Equipment Bank distributes a variety of mobility equipment and personal safety devices at no cost to qualifying individuals. Those with the means to do so can purchase refurbished equipment at below-retail value.

• Mobility Equipment: Canes, crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, power scooters, etc.

• Personal Safety  Devices: Commode chairs, raised toilet seats, shower chairs, transfer benches, etc.

Donated equipment, new and refurbished, is provided at no cost to qualifying individuals. 

All equipment is sanitized, refurbished, sold, and, in the case of larger or more specialized items, delivered to our client’s home.  Funds raised help support the program for individuals who cannot afford to pay for equipment.
