You Can Help!

Monthly Supporter

Would you consider Monthly Giving?

Monthly giving, also known as recurring or sustaining giving, refers to the practice of donating a fixed amount of money on a monthly basis to a nonprofit organization. Many organizations, including Seniors First, rely on monthly donations to fund their programs and operations as it provides a reliable and consistent stream of income.

Fundraising revenue for most nonprofits comes from diverse sources that can include government funders, private foundations, corporations, organizations, civic groups, the faith community, and of course individual donors like you. Most of these contributions are cyclical and fall during different times of the year – or even different alternating years – each based on their own funding calendar. Additionally, most donations made by individuals usually fall toward the end of the calendar year when individuals and families are considering their year-end charitable gifts.

With your sustainable monthly gift you help fill funding gaps that occur during the year. This has an immediate and ongoing impact on the clients we serve – our community’s most vulnerable senior citizens. Setting up a monthly donation to Seniors First is simple and straightforward. You can easily manage and adjust your donation as your financial situation changes. We would be happy to discuss a monthly donation plan that works best for you and help you set it up automatically. Please reach out to Marsha Lorenz, Seniors First President/CEO, at mlorenz@seniorsfirstinc.org or phone at 407-615-8961. Thank you for all you do!

P.S. Another option for monthly giving is through Heart of Florida United Way. If your employer participates in their annual workplace campaign, you can designate your gift to Seniors First. Your recurring donation can be automatically deducted from your paycheck.

Planned Giving

Are you considering a significant gift to help further our mission? Planned Giving, also called Legacy Giving, provides opportunities for you to make larger gifts to nonprofits whose mission and values align with your own philanthropic goals. Incorporating a charitable gift in your will might be exactly what you are looking for and is the most popular and flexible way to support Seniors First. Other options can fit anyone’s budget and include Bequests and Trusts, Blended Gifts, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, IRAs and more. Your generous promise of a planned gift helps ensure our work will continue well into the future. We also consider gifts in the form of stocks, land, or other tangible assets, allowing donors to contribute in a manner that may align more closely with your financial planning or investment strategies.

With the help of your financial advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to Seniors First Foundation, Inc. as part of your estate plan. Through a planned gift, you leave a lasting legacy to be remembered and safeguard the future of our vital programs. Planned Gifts can also offer substantial tax savings to donors depending on the type of planned giving instrument chosen. Kindly notify us of a gift in your will, trust, or other type of planned gift.

We are always available to discuss your options and help you make a choice that is right for you and your family. Our team wants to help you create a meaningful legacy and make navigating the process as easy as possible.  To learn more about and discuss ways to give contact Marsha Lorenz, Seniors First President/CEO, at 407-615-8961 or mlorenz@seniorsfirstinc.org.
