If given the choice, older adults want to remain living in their own homes for as long as possible. Nowhere is support towards senior independence seen more clearly than through our In-home Care program. Annually, we provide more than 98,000 hours of care to seniors to help them remain at home and avoid or delay institutional care.
We assist low-income homebound seniors in Orange and Seminoles Counties with daily activities that have become difficult due to declining mobility and health. These individuals are at risk of nursing home placement because they are struggling at home without access to supportive services.
A custom care plan is created for each individual. A package of essential supportive services, in-home and community-based, is coordinated by a care manager who monitors the senior’s needs on a regular basis.
Our homemakers provide light housekeeping and home management services such as laundry, shopping assistance and meal preparation.
