You Can Help!

  • Ongoing Initiatives

There are a variety of ways you can volunteer with Seniors First, each one delivering a profound sense of accomplishment and appreciation.

    Project Connect

In an effort to relieve isolation and loneliness, Seniors First provides free user-friendly Samsung tablets called Claris Companions to our Meals on Wheels clients. The tablets are designed for seniors and allow them to engage in a variety of activities, from watching movies and shows to connecting with friends and family. Tech-savvy volunteers are needed to help train seniors, in their homes, on how to use the tablets. Contact us for details about Project Connect.

    Hobby Hosts

Have a special interest or passion you’d like to share? Contact us about leading a group, either in person or virtually, on a topic that matters to you, such as music, crafting, arts, history, trivia… almost anything.

    Meals on Wheels Delivery

Volunteers are the heart of our Meals on Wheels program. With a 2-hour-a-week commitment, you can help change someone’s life for the better. Click here for more information.

    Group Volunteering

Groups of eight to ten volunteers can enjoy a unique chance to connect with seniors and share meals, games, and other social activities through our Neighborhood Lunch Program, available at seventeen locations across Orange County.

    Donation Drives
Neighborhoods, businesses, churches, and civic groups can support seniors by organizing drives for personal care items, house cleaning supplies, or contributions to food pantries. Click here to view our needs lists.

    Community Food Pantry

Open to all who need it, our pantry serves the public every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 9 am to 11 am. We seek compassionate volunteers to organize, stock, and distribute much-needed food items. Explore our pantry needs wish list here and join us in spreading kindness through your contribution.

    Administrative/Office

Volunteer office assistants are crucial to our organization, helping with clerical duties during the hours of 9 am–4 pm, Monday through Friday. For details on this special volunteer need, please contact Maureen Sullivan at 407-373-7752 or msullivan@seniorsfirstinc.org
